Mediterranean laminate floors have a warm design that keeps your house cheerful and full of grace. This floor has a thickness of 12 mm (0.47 inches) and a width of 7.5 inches. The length of flooring planks is 48 inches. It has the AC4 Wear layer i.e it has a highly durable surface layer that is made from two thin sheets of paper filled with melamine. Key feature is this is a water resistant floor, water proof for up to 72 hours. This makes this floor highly attractive because of its durability and scratch resistance. Therefore, this floor is perfect for houses with kids and pets as it can hide marks and scuffs. This laminate floor is a cost effective alternative compared to hardwood floors. Other key details of this floor are:
- 72 hour Water Resistance: A star feature of this floor is that it has 72 hour water resistance. Not waterproof, but pretty close. It is a superior product to other laminate floors because solid water resistance is rare in laminate floors. It gives you peace of mind as there is no fear if kids spill water
- Realistic Wood Look: Laminate floor planks often have some surface detail to further mimic a natural hardwood look and can have the look and feel of a hand-scraped hardwood or embossed wood
- Easy to install: Laminate flooring has a quick lock flooring, and is designed to be installed as a floating floor. This means it “floats” by the means of an interlocking design. It is do-it yourself (DIY) friendly as this process is easy for anyone who is new to floors
- Easy to stand on for longer periods of time: Most laminate installations include underlayment, which can make the floor feel more comfortable underfoot
