Everything You Need to Know
Armstrong S-763 Seam Adhesive for Sheet Flooring (SKU S-763) is a white, water-based resin seam adhesive applied from an applicator bottle. It is an alternative to heat welding in commercial vinyl sheet installations where an impervious floor covering is not required, and it conceals the seam. This listing is for one 8 oz (236 mL) bottle. Sold by the bottle by Word of Mouth Floors — order exactly the quantity you need, no square-foot maths.
Coverage: approximately 144 lin ft per bottle at a 1/8" bead (per Armstrong; actual coverage varies with the substrate and application).
Key Benefits
- Strong bond that conceals the seam.
- Saves installation time compared with traditional seaming methods; easy clean-up.
- Walk on the seam after 2 hours; full dry time 4–6 hours.
Best Applications
Recommended for: Seaming vinyl sheet flooring in commercial installations where an impervious floor covering is not required.
Not recommended for: Health care operating rooms, procedural rooms or any space where an aseptic environment is necessary — Armstrong recommends heat-welded seams there.
